K-Grand Hostel Dongdaemun

it was really close to a train station, and decently close to a mall with good food and shopping. there were multiple convenience stores for snacks and little meals nearby too!

Very good value for money Good location - not so crowded but also not far from city center (i.e., Myeong-dong), near Sangwangsimni subway station (with elevators!) and bus stops, has many food options/restaurants around the area and has a nearby supermarket, Olive Young, etc. Size of the room - nice functional bathroom (even if the shower and sink are in the same space), fits big luggages, clean Has free breakfast for guests - cereals, bread, coffee, tea, instant soup, egg (you just have to do the cooking) With reliable staff

K-Grand met our expectations. What our family liked: location and nearness to a subway station; nearby are various restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops, bakery, and stalls offering famous Korean delicacies (dumplings, twisted donuts and cake, etc.). there are also clothes shops and hostel is right next to a medical clinic. Room has good amenities: slippers, clothes rack and hangers, toiletry set is of a good brand. The blanket-comforter is nice and warm. Surrounding neighborhood is nice and safe. Security within the hostel is also good. Breakfast items on self-service is available; easy access to drinking water even late at night. Best of all, staff are very nice and helpful, esp the lady manager!! Great customer service.

Breakfast were a bonus, the location was close to subway and bus stops. Reception was always available and the room was neat and tidy with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had everything needed even though it was small. Easy access by stairs or lift. Some good street food and shops nearby. Wi-Fi was available everywhere. I had a problem with the air conditioner - it was fixed the same day.
